Norman Solomon of Farmington Hills, Mich., president of Michigan Industrial Finishes Corporation, pleaded guilty in Detroit of illegally storing more than 2,000 55-gallon drums and other containers of highly-flammable paint solvents, including xylene, toluene and methyl ethyl ketone.
Superfund cleanup costs at the Michigan Industrial Finishes site are estimated to be approximately $4 million. That's $4 million of your tax dollars. Thanks a lot Norman.
